Here is a Rolex Oyster ref. 2280 measuring 30mm in stainless steel and having the original Rolex Oyster-patented winding crown. This stainless steel case is without any dings or scratches – very clean. The black dial with two-tone Arabic numerals was beautifully re-printed in a custom style. The caliber 59 movement is correctly signed Rolex under the dial. These watches were produced for the Canadian market and offered to soldiers going overseas during WW2. These are great to wear when you desire the look of a discreet watch. This Rolex manual winding movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time.
