Description
This is a very uncommon and pristine Rolex Precision ref. 4578 having a 14k solid-gold case with stainless steel back, original and rare box, along with original gold-filled valuable buckle. This watch was found from an estate and was sealed in the box for decades. The case is not large, measuring 26mm across and 36.5mm lug-to-lug. It does provide decent wrist coverage for a smaller watch due to the square shape. Notice the flared, solid-gold lugs. This style and size is similar to Patek Philippe watches from the same era. This dial displays astounding original condition and retains the original Dauphine hands. The manual winding movement sparkles after just being cleaned and is accurate. This fine and original coffin-style Rolex box with silk lining is valued at $750 on its own. The winding crowns on these earlier Rolex watches were not signed. This is a rare and spectacularly preserved vintage Rolex collectible.
