This is a fine 1930s Rolex Prince. This watch has a the best movement Rolex produced in the 30’s and 40’s with balance protector, bridge micro regulator and adjusted to seven positions and known as the Rolex Prima movement. The stainless steel 22.5×41.5mm Prince case is known as the Railway Prince due to its stepped sides. This dial and lume was expertly restored and retains the vintage look. The pencil hands are original. In the eighties; at the beginning of the vintage watch collecting phase, the Rolex Prince was the pinnacle watch one would acquire and should really be considered one of the most important today. This is a great example.
