This a very rare Rolex Quartz Time To The Second ref. 455 extremely rare vintage circa 1985 clock. This watch has dead-seconds ticking, meaning it ticks one second at a time. This cylindrical clock is a very heavy, in gilt metal with fluted sides. measuring 4.7″ across. The brown dial is pristine. Notice the nipple-style GMT markers and Mercedes hands. The original Rolex quartz movement is keeping accurate time. This clock does not have its underside case back cover, which certainly does not affect the look or functionality. These clocks rarely appear.
