Description
This is a very clean 1972 vintage ref. 5513 Rolex Submariner having a 2.9 million serial number. The 40mm stainless steel case has been polished at some time, but the detail still remains. This bezel is very clean and likely replaced at some time in the past. The original dial and hands of this watch are both sublime. The lume is a fine vanilla and matches the hands perfectly. I believe these are original hands as well. The caliber 1520 automatic Rolex movement was recently cleaned and is running accurately. These vintage Rolex Submariner watches are all about the dial and hands…both are stunning.
