You’ve heard me say this before-these ROLEX Precision dress watches are quite uncommon and I believe they will escalate in value over the coming years. This watch dates to 1953 and was a U.K. marketed ROLEX. The very fine. robust and reliable manual winding ROLEX PRECISION movement was recently cleaned and is accurate. These manual winding movements have fewer parts than the automatics and are very reliable, providing many generations of longevity. The 31mm. case is solid 9k. yellow gold with very narrow bezel, making the watch appear larger on the wrist than it should-an all dial appearance. Keep in mind, this is a smaller watch that appears discreet, but not too small. The original ROLEX winding crown is still present. Speaking of the dial, this one is fabulous with 12, 3, 6, 9 Explorer style, sub-seconds, Dauphine hands and arrow markers. This dial and hands are completely original. If this watch were a Patek Philippe it would be priced at close to $10,000.
