Description
This vintage 1950s Royce Triple Date Moon Phase is working perfectly. The manual winding caliber 90 movement complication provides the day, date, month, hours, minutes and seconds, along with the phases of the moon. This vintage watch has a completely original dial and hands. I love the blue against the gilt gold in the moon phase aperture. The day-of-the-month scale displays in red on the outer edge and directs to the date with the red triangular pointer. The Arabic numerals are displayed with luminous material. We did not restore the lume in the hands, as we like to keep the watch original. This chrome-and-steel case measures a respectable 35.5mm and has minor and usual marks for a watch of this age. Royce and Eska watch company was founded in 1918 by S. Kocher & Co. SA. and have produced many interesting watches; ending in the ’80s, when the quartz battery watch revolution took over.
