Royce Automatic Professional Marine ’70s

Description

This is a rather rare vintage 1970s professional marine dive watch produced by the Royce watch company. Royce and Eska watch company was founded in 1918 by S. Kocher & Co. SA. This vintage Royce watch was likely the largest watch produced in the ’70s, measuring a massive 46xmm across and 57.5mm lug-to-lug. This Royce watch is easily wearable due to the interesting flexible (hinged) lugs that hug the wrist. This is the cleanest example I’ve ever seen; appearing to be in new-old-stock condition. Often these cases are scratched and beaten-up; as these were professional dive watches, often worn by French naval divers. It appears this example was hidden in a drawer for years! The automatic winding AS 2063, 25 jewel movement is very accurate and running smoothly. This watch comes on its rare rubber tropic 22mm ’70s dive band. The pristine vibrant orange dial and hands are all original. Notice the original green luminous which glows like crazy in the dark. The knurl-edged bezel is (clicking) uni-directional, which prevents errors in the event the watch is bumped. The winding crown is a screw-down. This tool watch will attract so many eyes to your wrist and create much conversation. You won’t regret this vintage watch purchase.
