Description
This very collectable vintage WW2 watch is made by the Swiss manufacturer Savoy. This 30mm watch (usual smaller-size of military watches) retains its original military ordinance numbers on the stainless steel screwed case back. The chrome-plated top portion was expertly re-plated and looks fabulous! The original sub-seconds dial is really what makes this watch special – original, black, with both gold and silver gilt printing, 24-hour scale, and original lume on both the hands and Arabic numerals. The high-quality 15-jewel movement features shock-proofing with incabloc enhancement. The movement is quite accurate after a recent cleaning.
