Description
This is an uncommon circa 1971 King Seiko ref. 5626-7110 housed in the spectacular stainless-steel 36.5mm angular case that made all the Grand and King Seikos famous. This watch is special because of its beautiful blue fumé dial, which changes shades of deep to light colour depending on the angle. The shimmering case has never been polished and looks amazing. The rare beveled-raised-sapphire-original crystal is still intact, as many of these have been replaced with the wrong version. One of the most important additions to this vintage King Seiko is the original stainless-steel bracelet. This particular (supple) bracelet is extremely rare to find and is coveted by collectors. The automatic-winding ‘hi-beat’ caliber 5626 King Seiko movement has been serviced and is ticking away nicely. This watch came from a local and very serious Seiko collector here in London, Ontario Canada.
