Description
This is one of the cleanest Tudor Home Plate chronographs I’ve ever seen. The dial is pretty well prisitine. The hands and matching vanilla lume are completely original. The original steel bezel is spectacular plus the beveled edges are still in place on the lug edges. The screw-down pushers are original. The bracelet has the usual stretch for its age, but looks fantastic and has a flip-lock. These are extremely rare watches as you know, and I believe are a great investment. No other watch in the Rolex/Tudor line (other than the Paul Newman) has such an exotic and alluring dial. The original chronograph Valjoux movement is pristine, shimmering, and accurate after a recent overhaul by one of the best watchmakers in Canada.
