Description
These ref. 7020 late ’60s Tudor Jumbo Date-Day watches are amazing to wear due to their very large 39mm stature. This stainless steel variation is the earliest and best version of the jumbo Tudors, having the turning steel bezel. Even more amazing is the unpolished case with thick chamfers remaining on both lower lugs. The Rolex Oyster winding crown is present. This fine automatic winding Tudor movement was just fully disassembled and cleaned and is running accurately. The spectacular patina on the completely original dial speaks for itself. The baton hands are original. Notice the large and curved day of the week aperture, being the same as the Rolex President! These Tudor watches were the other sporting watch (other than the Submariner) offered by Tudor at the time. The deep sun-tanned dial on this example makes this a more rare and valuable piece than the usual finds.
