Rolex made some interesting watches in the 1940’s. This Canadian version ladies cocktail watch properly utilized a contract case to circumvent import duties. More interestingly, Rolex used a fully signed Rolex movement as the engine for this vintage Tudor piece. The dainty case measures 16x28mm. in gold filled with steel back and heart shaped lugs. The vintage stretch band really suits the watch. This original dial has reflective Arabic numerals and blued steel hands encompassed by the original glass crystal. This dial is fairly large and easy to read. At this price, you cannot go wrong.
