Tudor Tuxedo Two-Tone 1950’s
This is an early 50’s version (circa 1955) Tudor Tuxedo two-tone 14k. gold and steel vintage watch having a beautiful original dial with a leathery appearance. We coined the name “Tudor Tuxedo” many years ago and it has stuck. The lyre lugs add much interest to this watch. The 34mm. gold and steel case shows off its gleaming condition. The caliber 390 Tudor movement (same as used in the Tudor Submariner) was just cleaned and is accurate. This watch even retains its rare Brevet (cross logo) 50’s Rolex Oyster winding crown which have usually been replaced over the years. The Dauphine hands are original. These vintage Tuxedos are becoming hard to find.
