Here we have a Tudor Oyster Sussex measuring a full-size 34mm. which is actually one of the largest of the Tudor dress watch circa 1956. The small rose dial with radium numerals and original blued steel pencil hand has a fine and attractive light patina. The gold plated case with steel Rolex Oyster back looks amazing and even has the correct early Rolex winding crown still screwing down. The fine manual winding Tudor movement was just cleaned and is accurate. ROLEX produced these uncommon watches for the Commonwealth market along with the models Essex, Chester, Devon, London and Bristol. This one is a prime example.
