Here is a watch that survived WW2 quite well! A UNIVERSAL GENEVE Royal Dutch military! The stainless steel signed case back…UNIVERSAL GENEVE U.W. EDELSTAHLBODEN. The dial is original, glossy black, having sub-seconds with concentric circles, white, Arabic numerals, original, radium, dagger hands, signed…”UNIVERSAL GENEVE ” with W – Royal Dutch Army issue watch mark, c. 1939 just before German occupation of Netherlands, which makes this watch issue extremely rare! The chrome plated (bezel and side) case measures 30mm., being the standard military size for the era…. very minor wear considering its’ age! The dial is quite clean… some luminous dots missing… nothing detracting. A fine and RARE vintage DUTCH military watch for your collection!
