Wakmann Nautoscaph 999 ft. dive watch 1960’s
This 36.5x42mm. vintage 1960’s Wakmann Nautoscaph dive watch is rather uncommon. This watch was designed to be submerged up to 999 feet and is a true dive watch from the era. The turning bezel is original. This dial and hands is also original and notice the amazing font in the word SUPERAUTOMATIC. The automatic winding movement made by Alstater is correct for the watch-just cleaned and is accurate. Richard Dreyfus plays a young oceanographer named Matt Hooper in the movie JAWS and wore this similar watch in the movie. This watch is pretty cool looking on the wrist!
