This is a large 38mm Wittnauer Professional Chronograph dating to the late 60’s. This fine and uncommon watch was made by Longines. The massive steel case displays glistening condition. The original winding crown is present, the case has a robust screw back, and the dial lume and hands are all original. Notice the reflective track in the chrono sub-registers. The white print is all clear against the black dial. The very fine manual wind movement is the Valjoux 72 which has just been cleaned. This movement is amongst the most collectable and rugged of all chronograph movements. Examples such as this rarely appear.
