1970 Tissot T-12 Chronograph

Description

This is a very cool vintage 1970 Tissot T-12 chronograph measuring a large 44mm. The original 7.25″ Tissot bracelet looks great. The dial is original and simply stunning with its striking contrasting tone and colour combination! The hands are original. Tissot and Omega were the same company back in the day, and this caliber 873 Lemania movement is essentially a caliber 861 (Omega Speedmaster) manual winding chronograph movement! This watch is accurately keeping time with the chronograph function operating smoothly. The bracelet is made by the very high-end bracelet company “Gay Frères” and is dated to 1970. Gay Frères was purchased by Rolex over a decade ago. You will find it hard to beat the spectacular look of this very cool vintage chronograph. I believe these are an undervalued and underappreciated vintage watch.
