Description
This is a 1964 Heuer Carrera three-register chronograph having an accurate Valjoux 72 manual winding movement. Based on the “E.D. HEUER & CO” signature on the case and movement, this is the earliest of all the Carreras, with this signature only appearing during the first six months of 1964! The 36mm stainless Heuer case is without any dings or major scratches. The silver and rare decimal dial is completely original and, having only the smallest marks above the dial post. The original baton hands remain. A Heuer large-sized winding crown is present. Notice the uncommon original dial, having blued decimal scale (1/100th minute increments) and 1/5th seconds inner-edge bezel. Included, is an original Heuer buckle. This vintage Heuer Carrera is amongst the prettiest and most balanced-looking of all vintage watches.
