This is a rare, fine and early 1920s Rolex Prince duo-dial doctor’s watch, with a very early serial# 09645 and ref. 1527 housed in the original and completely correct 23.5×42.5mm rhodium-plated railway-style Rolex Prince case, which we recently had re-plated to perfection. The salmon dial was recently restored, with all the correct markings and fonts – that is a shadow on the lower part of the dial, all the toning is even. All three blued, steel hands are completely original to the watch. The manual winding 15-jewel (early) original Rolex Prince movement is timed to six positions (chronometer standards) and was overhauled by one of the best watchmakers in Canada. Of course, it is keeping accurate time. This is a superb example overall of an extremely rare Rolex Prince that is very seldom seen.
