Description
This is a rare, vintage, 1940 Longines chronograph housing the legendary 13ZN movement, which was an in-house movement produced by Longines and is of the finest quality. The original 35mm 18k solid-gold Longines snap-back case has very subtle and usual ding marks that are barely visible on the side. This watch is thick at 13.5mm. The prized all-original dial with original blued steel hands is evenly aged with blue (rare) pulsations scale. I really love the spectacular patina that this dial has taken on over the years! Notice the serial number on the movement that matches the case.
