Rolex avoided import duties by using a U.S. case company during the 1940s. These Rolex watches are completely original and correct. The dial on this watch is original as well. These are small and dainty cocktail-style watches measuring 17.x26mm, which was a classic size for the 1940s era. The manual winding and signed Rolex movement was recently cleaned and is accurately keeping time.
