This very interesting 1963 vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 1025 is gold capped over steel, measuring 34mm with the gold Rolex Oyster winding crown and stainless steel ref. 1025 steel Rolex Oyster case back. This is the first occasion we have found this particular diamond-beveled bezel on any Rolex – very interesting and original to the watch! The Dauphine hands also add a vintage appeal and are original. The bezel is very subtle, not flashy, but at second glance, reflects the light nicely. The bezel is crisp all around (it is washed out in the picture). The 26-jewel caliber 1530 automatic winding Rolex movement is accurate after a recent cleaning and overhaul. An original Rolex gold-plated buckle is included on a generic strap. The dial is all original and crisp.
