Description
This 34.5mm Rolex Oysterdate ref. 6694 is as complete as they come with inner and outer box, military receipt, and original guarantee certificate with matching serial number and 1970 Hong Kong purchase receipt from the U.S. Navy purchasing department. The buckle is a newer Rolex and the original Rolex Oyster bracelet is included (very clean). The hang tag is also present. The original black dial is pristine. The case is in fantastic shape. The receipt and engraving on the back says A.E Spangler. Purchase date looks like it was on May 8, 1970 but the ink is faded. A.E. Spangler states on the receipt that his Naval Rank is AO1. I believe he was a Petty Officer First Class (E6) on the USS America. The USS America was a US Aircraft Carrier (CV-66) that made three trips to Hong Kong during the Vietnam war.
