Description
Look at this vintage, early 1970s Heuer Temporada with pulsations scale. This is a perfect vintage doctors watch! The Heuer Temporada is a auto racing chronograph. Motor racing is big in South America and the winter championship became known as the Temporada Series. Interestingly, these Heuer Temporada watches have a pulsations scale for heart-rate timing. These scales are rarely found on chronographs. These are an uncommon variety of Heuer that are usually found in gold plating, but this one is the most sought-after variety with steel top and black ceramic rear. This watch came from Switzerland and was new old stock! The only wear mark is on the bezel edge near the winding crown, with some minor wear from years of storage and probably demonstrations. The wear is not very noticeable on the wrist and is quite minor considering the age. The dial is perfect with vibrant-orange accents and silver background. These are the most desirable colours anyone would want to see on a vintage chronograph – very striking! Notice the pulsations scale in red, and large chronograph registers in dark grey. All functions work perfectly and this watch keeps accurate time. The movement is a manual winding Heuer 17-jewel.
