This 1969 Rolex Air-King was just purchased by us from the original owner who wore it since 1969 when he bought it new. Many years ago he had Rolex service the watch and requested black Rolex hands instead of silver for easy readability. The contrast does work quite well. The dial is completely original with light patina, much less visible with the naked eye compared to our large, bright pictures. The caliber 1520 automatic winding Rolex movement is absolutely pristine after a recent overhaul. This fine movement was fully dismantled, and (expensively) cleaned with some Rolex parts replaced. Our watchmaker is Rolex certified. The 34mm stainless steel Rolex Oyster case is without any major dings or scratches. This is a classic vintage Rolex that we collectors love. This Rolex is priced extremely well and ready to share a lifetime of your memories.
