Description
This is a ‘big bubble’ Rolex Oyster Perpetual (early) Date from 1954 with solid-gold engine-turned bezel, red date, and very uncommon (original) super Oyster winding crown. The 35.5mm stainless steel case with bubble back displays fine condition for its age. The two-toned 14k gold and steel stretch bracelet looks very fine. Only the smallest thing to mention, one of the riveted links on the side has a stainless steel covering rather than a gold covering. This is completely invisible while wearing and used just to maintain the bracelet’s functionality because this bracelet was one link short. The dial is completely original with only the tiniest bit of the letter “M” missing. The Dauphine Hands are correct.
